Help Cornell Stand Up For Science

The extended campus community joined us for an original distributed action on Friday, March 7, to help Cornell Stand Up For Science!

That morning, the public received a stunning announcement that Cornell had Declared a Climate Emergency and launched the Office of Climate Science and Activism to oversee 30 bold new policy initiatives for climate justice. The campus community celebrated and joined the outreach campaign

Wow! How did this happen?

Activists took over Cornell's climate messaging for the day in honor of Stand Up For Science Day Stand Up For Science is a national day of action to defend science as a public good. It seeks to empower scientists–and all of us–to engage in sustained advocacy in the years to come. We created a quick, comedic way for you to participate right here in Ithaca!

To pitch in, please join our letter campaign congratulating the University's senior leadership on Cornell's climate action. We did the heavy lifting for you: just click “send!” We aim to continue delivering letters all week long!
